Madison Elle Beer, a Long Island, New York resident and music enthusiast, was an avid listener and performer since she was ten years old. In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of her singing cover songs of well-known songs. Justin Bieber, a pop celebrity, saw her rendition of Etta's "At Last" within a matter of months and shared the song with his more than 25 million followers on Twitter. The resulting media coverage led her to a record contract with Island Records and a management agreement with Bieber's management the following year. Beer was also featured in a small part in Louder Than Words (starring David Duchovny) which premiered at the film festival in 2013. Beer's debut single, the poppy and melismatic "Melodies," was released late in 2013. In 2018 she released her solo debut album, "As She Pleases". The single "Home with You", which was featured within Norway's Top 30, and the EP ranked in the Top Half of the Billboard 200, reached its highest point. The same year, Beer issued the non-album single "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
