Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American Actress who played a range of roles in television, films and in the theatre. Anne Lockhart is an American actress. Her birth name is Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She's best-known as Lieutenant Sheba from the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. She is the granddaughter and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as actor June Lockhart. Lockhart's professional career started very early. It could be that her agent turned it off without notifying Anne. Glen Larson sent her an preliminary draft of script to play a character in 1978's television show Battlestar Galactica. The character was not strong enough for her to accept the role. In the future, Glen wrote a new part exclusively for her featuring a much stronger character named Sheba. The Living Legend's initial 25-page script had been read by her and she immediately agreed. The show lasted only one episode. The actress co-starred on Joyride along with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
